As part of the economic development of its territory, the Municipality of Châlons-en-Champagne and Trialog, accompanied by the CRSD mission launched the Catalaunes Digital project.

The students of the lycée Ozanam and the Châlons IUT – project partners – will animate the training of 100 senior citizens, creating a new intergenerational link.

Training is the foundation of any project to deploy a regional Silver Economy based on supply and demand if we accept the idea that the economy is governed by users, who are, if not the buyers in any case, the decision-makers (thus the keys to demand).

The training therefore positions itself as a good springboard to launch a Silver Economie sector in a dedicated territory, so that then the offer and therefore the suppliers can create value in that territory.

In parallel with this training, the Catalaunes Digital project aims to strengthen the offer by setting up conferences between ecosystem stakeholders and co-creation meetings with suppliers of digital solutions for senior citizens. To this end, Trialog has set up and coordinates a working group within the Silver Valley: the Silver Digital Group, which brings together SMEs whose primary goal is to offer a digital service for senior citizens. In Châlons, other SMEs, TEIs or large groups will join the ecosystem in order to facilitate the deployment of services through the implementation of synergies common to all.
The Digital Faculty is an initiative of Trialog, which aims to be replicated in other territories in search of economic development via the Silver Economie.
