In this context, Trialog has developed ComboCS: a CCS test and validation tool.
SIMULATOR MODE
ComboCS, the CCS simulator is able to simulate either an EV or EVSE (Depends of the ComboCS model) part of a CCS implementation in order to simulate a charging session following IEC 61851-1, DIN 70121 and/or ISO/IEC 15118.
SUPERVISOR MODE
ComboCS is provided with a web interface compatible with Windows, Linux and Mac, accessible over Ethernet or Wifi. It provide access to real-time evolution of the ongoing CCS communication.
TEST CASE MODE
The test case mode of ComboCS triggers CCS communication session for a list of nominal and non-nominal predifined cases :
Conformance tests defined by ISO 15118-4, ISO 15118-5 and DIN 70122 and interoperability tests developped by Trialog.
EXPERT MODE
The expert mode provide means to modify at anytime the nominal behavior of the ComboCS before or during the charging loop.
HTTP CONTROL API
The ComboCS is provided with an HTTP API interface so that you may programmatically control your device. These APIs will allow you to modify the behaviour of the ComboCS, adapt its charging limits and targets, and perform actions like Unplug/Plug/Start/Stop and more. Thanks to this API you can even script your own test cases to fit your specific needs (dependent on configuration and model).
OCPP 1.6 & 2.0.1
The EVSE version of the ComboCS can be equipped with our OCPP stack (QOCPP-CS). This option exists so that you can test, with a physical device, a full charging station simulator with the latest communication protocols. With option you can test both OCPP 1.6-J and OCPP 2.0.1.

ISO 15118-20 V2G
The ComboCS can be equipped with the latest ISO 15118-20 communication protocol. It supports both AC and DC including the BPT (aka V2G) features. This option will allow you to verify and accelerate the development of your implementation of this new standard.
