Trialog made a presentation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) as an opportunity for IoT security and privacy and AI as a threat for IoT security and privacy.
Two dual viewpoints were taken: a malicious AI viewpoint, i.e. using AI to create security and privacy attacks, and a positive AI viewpoint, i.e. using AI to increase the security and privacy of IoT systems. Recommendations were provided on policy makers / researchers collaboration, on practices to address the dual use concerns, ethical AI-by-design and on best available techniques.
