1987: Company Creation
TRIALOG is founded in 1987 by four highly skilled software engineers who had previously worked for the telecom and aerospace industries where they developed new generations of fully software-based systems.
1988: Introduction of Automotive Multiplexing
TRIALOG helps French car makers and suppliers introduce multiplexing into vehicles. TRIALOG is responsible for the specification of the VDX part of the OSEK/VDX automotive standard.
1992: Introduction of Home Control Networks
TRIALOG helps European white goods manufacturers define and specify home control networks. TRIALOG then develops the enabling technologies necessary to build connected household appliances and becomes the leading home networking technology supplier in Europe.

1997: Mastering the Complexity of Automotive Systems
In the automotive domain, the functional complexity of embedded systems and software increases drastically. TRIALOG's customers are faced with three major challenges:
- the increase in functional complexity
- the decrease in development cycle duration
- the need to control development costs.
Within its customers' engineering teams, TRIALOG deploys a set of techniques that handle issues such as value engineering, system and software architecture, and system and software reuse.
2001: Mastering the Safety & Security of Systems
In the automotive domain, the improvement of passenger safety and comfort is a major concern of car manufacturers. This leads to a major increase in the co-operation of vehicle functions. Consequently, embedded systems that support these functions have increasingly complex communication requirements.
In the household appliance domain, the rapid development of Internet services gives rise to the "connected home" concept.

In the mobile phone domain, the increasing availability of high performance data services leads to the development of downloadable products, such as ring tones, screens, games.
These developments result in the constant growth in the networking of devices and information systems. As a consequence, safety and security become the new key engineering challenges.
Within its customers' engineering teams, TRIALOG deploys a set of techniques that allow them to cope with challenges such as safety and security analysis, protection mechanisms, and "correct by construction" software.
2003: Mastering the Development of Industrial Systems
In order to help its customers to master complexity, cost, time-to-market, safety and security, TRIALOG deploys a comprehensive combination of techniques. These can be applied to embedded systems as well as to information systems.
Using these techniques as a starting point, TRIALOG is developing new activities in the domains of industrial embedded systems and industrial information systems.
